The Name “Ebenezer”

“We are a people of the Word & Spirit, walking by faith and given to prayers for God’s Kingdom project.”

Ebenezer means “stone of help” — a monument to God’s faithfulness (1 Samuel 7:12). Thus far the Lord has helped us, and that same help is the foundation of everything we do: worship, discipleship, prayer and community. This is a home, not an institution — a place to be known, to grow, and to belong.

We are a people of the Word & Spirit, walking by faith and given to prayers for God's Kingdom project. We recognize and believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and are given to the true worship of God in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Ebenezer (Rock of Help) — Romans 8:26. And we trust that through His supernatural help we daily conquer self, sin and satan. We believe we shine as light to our world, hence are role models and change agents that positively impact society. We are kingdom Watchmen not restricted by denomination and taking a stand to birth and enforce the will of God over destinies, nations and the Church.

1 Samuel 7:12 KJV — Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us. Romans 8:26 KJV — Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 2 Thessalonians 1:11 KJV — Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power.
