The Name “Ebenezer”

“We are a people of the Word & Spirit, walking by faith and given to prayers for God’s Kingdom project.”

Ebenezer means “stone of help,” a reminder of God’s faithfulness. In 1 Samuel 7:12, Samuel said, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” That is the heart behind who we are. Everything we do, from worship and prayer to discipleship and life together, is built on that truth: God has helped us, and He is still helping us. More than anything, Ebenezer Embassy is a home. A place where you can be known, grow in your faith, find community, and belong.

We are a people of the Word and the Spirit, walking by faith and committed to prayer for the advancement of God’s Kingdom. We believe in the Lordship of Jesus Christ and live to worship God in His name. We believe the Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Ebenezer, our Rock of Help. Through His help, we are daily strengthened to overcome self, sin, and Satan, and to live as the light God has called us to be. We are called to make a difference. As role models, change agents, and Kingdom watchmen, we take our place to pray, stand, and work for God’s will to be established in the lives of people, across nations, and in the Church. We are not limited by denomination, but united by a desire to see God’s Kingdom come and His will be done.
